(1) Background
While merging onto a two-lane Virginia road, unmarked by a center line, the victim’s auto was struck by an oncoming vehicle that he alleges was traveling on the wrong side of the roadway.
(2) I was retained by the plaintiff’s law firm
Marks & Harrison, one of Virginia’s largest personal injury law firms, retained me to produce a presentation with a detailed site analysis and timeline-based accident recreation, to prove that the defendant was 100% responsible. This was a the crucial point of the claim because Virginia’s contributory negligence standard bars recovery by a personal injury plaintiff if he/she was even 1% at fault.

With the aid of the presentation I developed, Marks & Harrison was able to obtain a settlement from the defendant’s insurance carrier.
